



Lothar Semmlinger
Lothar Semmlinger was born in 1953 in Langensenderbach, Germany.
From a young age, he studied violin making under the German master Albert Lang.
He obtained his Meister qualification in 1975 and became independent in 1980.
The company established a workshop in Baiersdorf, a region famous for violin making, just like Mittenwald. In 1994, the company merged with Benedikt Lang, and Semmlinger violins became even more popular around the world.
Today, together with his two sons, Stefan and Christian, he produces high-quality violins all over the world.
