About repairs

This involves repairing and resolving structural problems with the instrument, such as peeling, chipping, or cracks in the top or back of the instrument, replacing the fingerboard, refitting the neck, repairing varnish, and other damage.
In order to keep instruments in good condition, which are exposed to the tension of the strings and changes in the weather every day, we strive to maintain instruments that will be loved for a long time through precise timing and careful work.

About adjustments

This process involves adjusting the condition of parts that can be replaced or repaired, such as the sound post, bridge, fingerboard, nut, strings, chin rest, tailpiece, and tuning pegs, in order to eliminate or resolve problems with the instrument's sound quality, tone, resonance, and playing.
We offer a wide range of options to suit the player's wishes and bring the instrument to its best condition.

About hair replacement

It will take about an hour to complete after you arrive. (Reservation required)
If you tell our craftsmen directly about the quality, quantity and tension of the horsehair, we will respond to your requests.

Request

First, please contact us by phone or email with your request for repairs, adjustments, hair replacement, etc. We will also make an appointment for your visit.
*If you are in a hurry, please make your reservation by phone if possible.

Instrument inspection and quotation

When you come to our store, we will inspect the instrument and provide you with an estimate. Please let us know as many details as possible about your requirements.
In addition, there may be cases where defects that the user himself does not notice or parts that will require repairs in the future are discovered, so please be sure to discuss the work time and cost with the person in charge before making a decision.
*If you would like to simply inspect and estimate, we will do so free of charge at any time.

Repairs/adjustments/hair changes

Once the estimate has been completed, we will proceed with the actual work of repair, adjustment, and rehairing. We aim to carry out repairs and adjustments while taking into consideration the player's preferences, style, and playing environment.

Delivery

If we accept your item, we will contact you once the repair is complete.
When you visit us, we will explain to you what has been repaired and how.
