Franz Kirschnek

The roots of Franz Kirschnek go back to Joseph Muller, who was born in Bohemia (now the Czech Republic) in 1850. Since opening his workshop in 1880, he has won various awards and exhibited at the World's Fair in Paris in 1900. In 1933, his grandson-in-law, Franz Kirschnek, founded his own company, which became the current Franz Kirschnek GmbH.
Our current workshop is located in Erlangen, near Bubenreuth, Germany, and we are proud of our unbroken tradition of producing high-quality instruments.

~Features of the instrument~
It is based on the Stradivarius model, and the back in particular has beautiful grain, while the varnish on the higher-end models has an antique finish.
It features good balance and a long, clear high note, and the more you play it, the stronger and more beautiful it becomes.
