Giovanni Battista Morassi

He is the nephew of the contemporary master Gio Batta Morassi.
Like his master, he is from the province of Udine and is nicknamed "Gianni."
He graduated in 1992 from the National School of Luthier Making in Cremona under the direction of Gio Batta Morassi.
He continued to work in Gio Batta Morassi's workshop before going independent.
He has won awards at competitions in various locations, including Poznan, Poland; Mittenwald, Germany; and Cremona, Italy.
While his style is inherited from the Morassi family, his works, which incorporate his own unique characteristics, are highly regarded worldwide.
