Davide Somenzi

Born in 1967 in Casaimaggiore, a suburb of Cremona
In 1981, at the age of 14, he entered the Cremona Violin Making School and studied under Riccardo Bergonzi and Ezio Scarpini.
After graduating in 1986, he worked for Riccardo Bergonzi and then Grisales before opening his own studio in 1992.

2nd place in the 1994 Triennale Competition.
3rd place in the 1991 Triennale Competition.
