~Message~Dear everyone at Tatsunoya Co. Ltd
It is with honour and pride that I accepted Mr Munehiro Okada's invitation to build a violin to participate in your exhibition celebrating your company's centenary.
When I met Mr Okada (1992/1993), I was extremely happy about the collaboration he asked me to undertake to supply instruments to your company, because it was a very difficult period for me, having recently left my old master's workshop. Perhaps I did not yet consider myself ready to manage the more commercial side of the work and I felt quite inadequate to deal with the personality of such an important figure representing such a large company, but Mr Okada's gaze reassured me and made me understand that at that moment, even though I was very young, he had faith in me.
This wonderful working relationship has continued to this day, allowing us to share and collaborate together in this challenging field.
I hope that in crafting this violin, I have been able to fully demonstrate my professionalism and ability to express myself in working with these woods, which so often frustrate us because they are difficult to work with, without ever forgetting that what we do must not only be beautiful, but must also sound good, because it is the working tool of great musicians who, in some way, also express themselves and make us fall in love with their music... with our instruments.
That is why I would like to thank Mr Munehiro Okada and all his staff once again.
Thank you for your trust.

Each of his instruments is worked out with great care and nicety of detail, from the choice of wood and models to the selection of paints. Both the design and the execution boast a sign of originality and make every piece singular and unique, as if it is inspired by the classical Cremonese Violin Tradition.

He works today in Rivarolo del re ed Uniti at his laboratory in Strada Gialdine 2, Cremona
