Simeone Morassi
Born in Cremona in 1966, he grew up as the eldest son of maestro Gio Batta Morassi, and was familiar with playing and making instruments from an early age. After graduating from the Cremona International School of Violin Making in 1984, he trained in his father's workshop. He has won awards and served as a judge in competitions around the world. He is currently the president of the Association of Italian String Instrument Makers (ALI), where he is dedicated to preserving and spreading the tradition. His workshop is highly regarded by international performers and collectors, and he actively participates in exhibitions and lectures around the world.
