Riccardo Bergonzi

In 1979, he graduated with honors from the Cremona International Violin Making School (awarded the "G. Merola").
He then taught at the school for 10 years.
In 1976, he became the youngest person ever to win the gold medal at the Bagnacavallo competition.
In 1988, he received high praise for his varnish and won the gold medal at the same competition.
He also won the gold medal in the cello category at the same competition in 1990.
1st place in the viola category at the 1991 Triennale.
