Born in Mantua, Italy in 1956. From 1970 he studied under Mario Gadda, becoming the only apprentice to carry on the traditions of the Mantuan School. In 1985 he established his own workshop, inheriting the techniques and aesthetics of Stefano Scarampella, and now produces all his instruments by hand. The unique red and yellow colours of the original varnish he used clearly express the characteristics of the Mantuan School. He currently continues to work in Porto Mantovano, Italy.
