Lorenzo Marchi

Born in Tuscany in 1950.
In 1974, he entered the International School of Violin Making in Cremona, where he studied under Giorgio Scolari and Gio Batta Morassi.
He opened his studio upon graduation in 1978.
He also lectures on violin making at the school.

In 1986 he won second place at the violin competition "Hwienawski" held in Poznam, Poland.
Member of ALI (Italian Violin Makers Association) and AEL (European Violin Makers Association).
