Ladislav F. Prokop

The Prokop family is a Czech family of violin makers that dates back to the founder, Anton Prokop (1777-1862), and continues to this day.

Starting with the third generation, Prokop Ladislav (1843-1919), successive heads of the family have continued to produce products under the name "Ladislav".

The fifth generation, Prokop Ladislav (1909-1993), was born in Chrudim, Czech Republic in 1909.

With excellent manufacturing techniques and using high-quality materials, he has created high-arch personal model instruments.

He passed away in 1993 (at the age of 84).
