Natale Novelli

Born in Milan in 1903.

He worked as an apprentice under his great-uncle, Giuseppe Pedrazzini (1879-1957).

Natale built his instruments using classical Cremonese designs such as those of Stradivari and Guarneri.

The workmanship is meticulous and the varnish is reddish or golden yellow.

He also showed great talent in repairing and restoring musical instruments, but he was said to have been a very humble person.

He died in 1981 (at the age of 78).
