Giovanni Vinacia was a maker active in Naples from 1762 to 1777.
The Vinacia family, like the Gagliano family, is one of the leading families of string instrument makers in Naples.
Giovanni also learned instrument making from his father, Gennaro Vinaccia (W. 1755-1778).
They mainly produce mandolins and lutes, and the violins and cellos they have produced are extremely rare.
