Violin EXPO 2025

Luca Slaviero was born in Cremona, Italy on April 28, 1991. In 2010 he graduated from the Specialized Science High School in Cremona, (Liceo Scientifico), learning a diploma, (diploma di Maturità).
In 2011-2012 he attended a class at “CR Forma” in Cremona on techniques for makers of bows for musical instruments with m° Emilio Slaviero and m° Lorenzo Lazzarato.
After graduation he completed in 2012 an internship in Paris at the atelier of master bowmaker Tibor Kovacs in Rue de Rome ,keep attending his master to work together, show his own bows and tacking counsel from his master.
He also frequented the atelier of master Sylvain Bigot in Lyon,France in 2015.
In 2016 joins the 1st competition and exposition for bowmakers in Amsterdam, organized by darling publications, awarding with a 1st prize for the playability of a violin bow.
In 2018 Luca Slaviero won the Gold Medal for violin bow in Mittenwald Competition.
The next year join the "Garda Lake Music Academy Master 2019 and also in 2022, as the official bowmaker in restoring the bows.
In Dember 2020 he teached bowmaking restoring at the International Violinmaking School A.Stradivari.
In 2022 he awarded with one of his bow the first prize winner for the “Premio Postacchini violin competition” in Fermo.
He usually join some international music exposition fair as Tokyo, Shanghai, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and New York.
The model of his bows are inspired by the old french bowmakers from the end of the 18th century until the last part of 19th century as Tourte, Pajeot, Simon, Pecatte, Maire and Sartory trying to find new expression forms which can links french tradition to modernity.
He opened his own shop in Salzburg, Austria from 2020 to 2022 and nowadays he works with his father Emilio at the Atelier Slaviero in Cremona, C.so XX Settembre,39.
